Walking at sixty percent

Walking increases divergent creative output by roughly 60 percent. Even on a treadmill. Even facing a blank wall.

The boost is specific: walking opens the idea space, but does not help you narrow down. And it persists — fifteen minutes to two hours after the walk, almost exactly one deep work block.

Generate on foot. Then sit down to refine.
